ABOUT LABORATORY
We are a non-profit acting and directing training laboratory located in New York.
Our approach is based on 3 principles:
Acting and directing synthesis
Acting and directing are complementary. One can not exist without the other. We believe that it is necessary to master the key aspects of both specialties in the modern world to perform in the profession effectively. Therefore, we offer a blend of acting and directing techniques in our classes.
Laboratory as a form of organization
The most dangerous thing in art is the frames that we erect for ourselves. The laboratory form does not oblige us to structure the training system but allows us to concentrate on the needs of each student. Following the precepts of Stanislavsky, we do not limit ourselves to a specific school but use elements of a variety of techniques.
Accessibility
The flexibility of the courses and the focus on individual needs make our classes suitable for people of all skill levels. So whether you are a professional with several decades of experience or a beginner who just decided to try something new, the approach will allow us to create exactly the kind of classes that suit your skill level.
